Hello and a mini rant [09 May 2005|11:44am]

Hi all, I just discovered this community.

Normally I don't care what my boyfriend does with his time because I like having some space and have my own little weird hobbies too. But right now I'm hungry and annoyed and furious at Final Fantasy (don't know which Roman numeral comes after it and don't care) for having affected my OWN life. We had a lunch planned and were supposed to have left an hour ago and he says we can't go for another hour or two because there's something "very important" he needs to do in that blasted game. As though it is an actual income-producing job or something. *rolls eyes*

I'm just totally resenting the fact that my life is being affected by this silly game now.

Ok, that's it for now. Thanks for listening. =)

Ryan is getting better about playing final fantasy, but he still bitches and moans that he doesn't have enough time to play. He just spent $30 on the spring edition of the game guide (and we didn't have the money in the first place) plus the game is costly every month since he has more than one character. *screams* When will this bullshit end!?!?

I just witness the impossible. For the longest time my boyfriend and I have had a ongoing argument about how annoying his final fantasy music is.

Obviously I'm the evil girlfriend, because I constantly have him turn the TV down because the music makes an already mentally ill girlfriend (that's me) quite insane.

Well tonight, while I was contemplating life, and the powers that be. Witnessed him (the addict) turn the sound on the TV down. I almost wet myself from laughter. I'm sure there are still body parts that I own that are not in their correct alignment.

That is all.

Here's some bullshit... [07 May 2004|05:43pm]

[ mood | annoyed ]

I sent a concerned email to playonline about my husbands addiction to thier game Final Fantasy 11 and this was thier responce to me:

Thank you for contacting the PlayOnline Information Center,

Unfortunately, we do not have any way to control how much time a person spends
playing our game. One of the reasons that the warning comes up every time the
game is started is to try to help curb online addiction. Many studies have
been done regarding online and computer addictions, and you may want to
investigate this matter further on your own by doing an online search for
\"online addictions\".

You can also read the article posted here:
(we are not in any way affiliated with this site)

We sincerely hope that you are able to resolve this issue.

Isn't that sweet? Appearantly there is nothing to be done about it without sabotoging his game and/or account in some way.
